This report presents the indigenous peoples who have always occupied the used lands around Weledeh-Cheh (i.e., the Yellowknife River and Bay) north to the barrenlands and the Arctic coast. Because the report is in English, the peoples' traditional knowledge is not as rich as it is in the Weledeh Yellowknives dialect. AS directed by Weleldeh Yellowknives Elders, the report begins by introducing their people.
